Cannabis and Inflammatory Pain

How can plant-based cannabinoids offer benefits for Inflammatory Pain? Read this summary of the research on cannabis and Inflammatory Pain.

The endocannabinoid system is highly involved in regulating pain and inflammation. Research shows that cannabinoids, such as CBD, CBG, CBDA, CBGA and CBN, can reduce pro-inflammatory and enhance anti-inflammatory compounds called cytokines and prostaglandins, improving symptoms in conditions like arthritis. Clinically patients report improved mobility, less pain, better sleep, and quality of life. These non-impairing cannabinoids are generally well tolerated and are not addictive, with little to no side effects once dosing is established.
